Experts › Catharin Dalpino

Catharin Dalpino is Visiting Associate Professor and Director of Thai Studies in the Asian Studies Program of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.  She is also Director of the Aspen Institute’s Program on Agent Orange in Vietnam, and Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council of the United States, where she directs a US-Europe-Southeast Asia Dialogue.  A former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and former Brookings Institution Fellow, Professor Dalpino specializes in Southeast Asian security, international relations and domestic politics.  She is the author of three books about US policy in Asia and numerous book chapters, journal articles and op eds.
